Friday May 08, 2015
There's
no question that protecting against data breaches is a high priority
initiative on most IT and IS team roadmaps. But in a crowded enterprise
software solution landscape with vendors often making herculean claims,
it's often difficult to determine where to start. There is no shortage
of data loss vectors or bad actors, and the indiscernible blend of
personal and corporate devices -- and their data -- makes this even more
challenging.
We will explore how organizations have focused on email as a threat and loss vector of paramount importance.Speakers:Joe Diamond of Proofpoint, Inc. has more than a decade
of engineering, product management, product marketing and software
leadership expertise in both the consumer and enterprise markets. He is
responsible for defining and bringing to market Proofpoint's next
generation information governance products. Previously, Joe was the head
of product management & marketing for RiskIQ, led enterprise
product management for Symantec's emerging products and technologies,
and served in product management and marketing roles for hosted email
archiving vendor LiveOffice, which was acquired by Symantec. Contact Joe

Sierra of Greenberg Traurig leads the team that manages and supports
the firm's messaging systems. He has been an IT professional for over 20
years, with experience supporting email platforms beginning with Novell
Groupwise, Microsoft Mail and Linux SendMail, moving into Microsoft
Exchange 5.5 in early 2000. Today's landscape calls for a focus on email
security and hosted platforms, Office 365, Google Apps and ProofPoint
Email Security. Contact Joel at sierraj@gtlaw.com. Jason
Preu, CISA has worked in information security for nine years,
specializing in user provisioning, firewall management, information

VDI has matured, and many companies have tried or implemented this technology. For those that have tried, but not implemented, why did they hold back? For those that have implemented, are they seeing the benefits? Please join us as Jim Moreo and Lisa Stone with Cornerstone I.T., J. Abernathy with MindShift and Kevin Svec with Sanders and Parks discuss the previous statement “VDI will provide huge benefits for your IT environment”, and break down those benefits to see if in fact VDI still makes sense for your environment.
